Even though he is gone, and will never be forgotten, the late kwaito star, Mandoza Tshabalala, still has more to offer his fans including a birthday gift.
A song the ailing star composed before his death is set to be released next week to mark what would have been his 40th birthday.
Briefly.co.za learned that the song, entitled, ‘Back For More’ was produced by Gabi le Roux, the same man who helped turn Mandoza into a household name with the crossover hit, ‘Nkalakatha’. "We're doing this to celebrate him and also to keep his rich legacy alive," said Le Roux.
According to Mandoza’s former manager, Vaughn Eaton, the star’s estate will also be launching Mandoza's clothing range in partnership with Magents Clothing partnering with retail stores across the country for the manufacturing and distribution of the apparel.
“The iTsotsi Yase Kasi T-shirts are a sample of what is to come as we develop the full clothing range for release later on, " said Eaton.
Meanwhile fans have been taking to twitter making references to the age of Mandoza when he died as well as other famous people, and how he liked to wear sunglasses like other celebrities who have died.
Last week, fans were treated to advance previews of the hit when Mandoza’s widow, Mpho Tshabalala, was interviewed on live on radio and the song was briefly played.
Back For More will be made available on almost all music streaming platforms for download.
